What exactly does it mean for a government agency to "ease" the transition from one kind of TV signal to another? In this case, it seems to mean making the entertainment industry feel very warm and fuzzy inside." The EFF's efforts against the flag have been covered before on Slashdot. SlashDot.org Damn, I almost missed the boat on this one- totally forgot about the broadcast flag. Looks like it may be time to save up for a new tuner card and get back into Linux. That's the problem with using Windows- stagnant software keeps you blind to the ever-evolving digital world.
